Day 1 – Manali

Altitude - 6750 feet

Arrive in Manali check into Hotel, day at leisure. O/N Manali

Day 2 – Manali – Jispa

Distance covered 134Kms. | Travel Time 7Hr. | Max. Altitude – 13,050 feet

Start your overland journey early morning and drive to Keylong. This high altitude road beyond the great Himalayan range connects the densely fertile and green Kullu valley to the stark barren region of Ladakh. The drive starts at Manali slowly winding up mountain roads till Rohtang Pass at 3,950M which connects the Kullu to the Lahaul valley. On entering the Lahaul valley we see a distinct change with the Hindu influence being replaced with the Buddhist religion. Enroute Tandi, confluence of Chandra Bhaga (Chenab) River. Reach Jispa & check into hotel O/N Jispa

Day 3 – Jispa – Baralacha La – Sarchu – Leh

Distance covered 340Kms. | Travel Time 11Hr. | Max. Altitude – 16,040 feet

After early breakfast leave for Leh, enroute Sarchu drive of 3 hrs, by crossing Deepak Tal & Suraj Tal (known as origin of Bhaga river) and Cross Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) Reach Sarchu. After Sarchu we will cross a number of passes. Climb up the Gatta Loops, a series of 21 hairpin bends carved into the mountainside and then after descending once again wind your way up the Lachung La pass (4985M above sea level). Drive through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft, second highest motorable road in the world, after climbing down drive along the banks of Indus river & Indus Valley. Arrive at Leh by evening. O/N Leh

Day 4 – Leh – Sangam – Hall of Fame – Leh

Distance covered 35Kms. | Travel Time 1Hr. | Max. Altitude - 11,500 feet
After Breakfast leave for day excursion to Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill & Sangam View where Indus & Zanskar river meet. Evening visit the peace structure built on small hill - Shanti Stupa O/N Leh

Hall of Fame near Leh is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defence personalities with biographies, images and weapons used during Kargil war.
- Shanti Stupa
Shanti Stupa is located at about 1km from Leh. It was built by a Japanese order and has wonderful views over Leh and the Indus valley especially at sunset. The stupa was built in 1980s and is a beautiful monument decorated with colourful paintings and enshrines large statues of Buddha.

Day 5 – Leh – Nubra Valley

Distance covered - 125 Kms. | Journey Time - 5Hrs. | Max. Altitude - 18,380 feet
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung la pass the highest motorable road in the world (18,380 feet). Keep driving through Shyok River and reach Hundur by late afternoon and enjoy Double Hump Camel safari in the evening. O/N Nubra Valley

Day 6 – Nubra Valley – Turtuk – Nubra Valley

Distance covered - 82 Kms. | Journey Time – 2.5Hrs. | Max. Altitude – 10,000 feet
After Breakfast drive to Turtuk – known as the last village / Promised Land between the two hostile neighbors. This scenic village was once a part of Baltistan in Pakistan which was recaptured by India in 1971 war. Travel up to Zero point from where Pakistan border is 2.2kms. & one can see Pakistan & Indian bunkers with binoculars placed there. It’s a Muslim village where Balti people live in harmony. After enjoying the beauty of Turtuk & its magnificent landscape drive back to Hundur. O/N Nubra Valley

Day 7 – Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake

Distance covered - 150 Kms. | Journey Time - 7Hrs. | Max. Altitude – 14,500 feet
After Breakfast drive to Pangong Lake via the beautiful and recently opened Shyok route. Reach Pangong and enjoy the beauty of this serene lake at an altitude of 14,500ft. This lake of Pangong is 5/6 kms wide and over 144 kms long and is shared by two countries (25% India and 75% China). O/N Pangong Lake

Day 8 – Pangong Lake – Leh (Shey – Thiksey – 3 Idiots school)

Distance covered - 150 km | Travel Time - 4 Hrs. | Max. Altitude – 17,590 feet
After breakfast drive to Leh, Enroute visit famous Shey Palace & Monastery, Thiksey Monastery & 3 Idiots school O/N Leh
- Shey Palace & Monastery
  This summer palace of the erstwhile King of Leh is set upon a hill. The monastery itself has a 7.5 meter high, copper statue of a sitting Buddha, wrought in gold. This is the largest of it’s kind in the world.
- Thiksey Monastery
  19 Kms from Leh, Thiksey is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas of Ladakh. The Thiksey monastery provides a panoramic view of the green Indus Valley from its vantage point atop a hill. It has chambers full of statues, Stupas and colorful Tankhas.
- 3 Idiots school – the school made famous by the movie 3 Idiots (entrance to school will depend on school authorities)

Day 9 – Leh – Moon Landscape – Lamayuru – Mulbek – Kargil

Distance covered - 230 km | Travel Time - 8 Hrs. | Max. Altitude – 13,480 feet
After breakfast leave for Kargil, enroute Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, Sangam of Indus & Zanskar River later have a spectacular view of Moonlandscape, Lamayuru (Oldest Monastery in Ladakh) and Giant Maitreya Buddha at Mulbekh. Arrive at Kargil by late evening O/N Kargil

Day 10 – Kargil – Drass – Zojilla – Sonmarg – Srinagar

Distance covered - 201 km | Travel Time -8 Hrs. | Max. Altitude – 11,640 feet
After early Breakfast by 5.00 am drive to Srinagar passing through Drass, the second coldest inhabited Place on earth and you can have spectacular view of Kargil War famous Peaks Tiger Hill and Tololing Peak. Arrive at Srinagar. O/N Srinagar

Day 11 – Leh – Moon Landscape – Lamayuru – Mulbek – Kargil

Transfer to Airport and fly back to Destination
