Day 1 – Arrival Leh

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh our representative will meet you at exit gate & transfer to your Hotel. After Breakfast complete Day rest to ACCLIMATIZE yourself to High Altitude. Evening walk with slow pace in Leh Bazaar, Overnight stay at the hotel O/N Leh

Day 2 – Leh – Moon Landscape – Lamayuru – Mulbek – Kargil

After breakfast leave for Kargil, enroute Magnetic Hill, Sangam of Indus river & Zanskar river later have a spectacular view of Moonlandscape, Lamayuru (Oldest Monastery in Ladakh) and Giant Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek. Arrive at Kargil by late evening O/N Kargil

Day 3 – Kargil – Dras War Memorial – Vijay Smarak – Leh

Distance covered - 230 km | Travel Time - 7 Hrs. | Max. Altitude – 13,480 feet

Morning after Breakfast leave for Dras war memorial - Vijay Smarak, a war memorial built by Indian army is based right at the base of Tololing. Drass village (it is 2nd coldest inhabited place in the world), also see the war famous Tiger Hill & Tololing. Return back to Leh, Evening visit Shanti Stupa O/N Leh

Shanti Stupa

Shanti Stupa is located at about 1km from Leh. It was built by a Japanese order and has wonderful views over Leh and the Indus valley especially at sunset. The stupa was built in 1980s and is a beautiful monument decorated with colourful paintings and enshrines large statues of Buddha.

Day 4 – Leh – Nubra Valley

Distance covered - 125 Kms. | Journey Time - 5Hrs. | Max. Altitude - 18,380 feet
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung la pass the highest motorable road in the world (18,380 feet). Keep driving through Shyok River and reach Hundur by late afternoon and enjoy Double Hump Camel safari in the evening. O/N Nubra Valley

Day 5 – Nubra Valley – Turtuk – Nubra Valley

Distance covered - 82 Kms. | Journey Time – 2.5Hrs. | Max. Altitude – 10,000 feet
After Breakfast drive to Turtuk – known as the last village / Promised Land between the two hostile neighbors. This scenic village was once a part of Baltistan in Pakistan which was recaptured by India in 1971 war. Travel up to Zero point from where Pakistan border is 2.2kms. & one can see Pakistan & Indian bunkers with binoculars placed there. It’s a Muslim village where Balti people live in harmony. After enjoying the beauty of Turtuk & its magnificent landscape drive back to Hundur. O/N Nubra Valley

Day 6 -Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake

Distance covered - 150 Kms. | Journey Time - 7Hrs. | Max. Altitude – 14,500 feet
After Breakfast drive to Pangong Lake via the beautiful and recently opened Shyok route. Reach Pangong and enjoy the beauty of this serene lake at an altitude of 14,500ft. This lake of Pangong is 5/6 kms wide and over 144 kms long and is shared by two countries (25% India and 75% China). O/N Pangong Lake

Day 7 – Pangong Lake – Leh (Thiksey – 3 Idiots school – Hall of Fame)

Distance covered - 150 km | Travel Time - 4 Hrs. | Max. Altitude – 17,590 feet
After breakfast drive to Leh, Enroute visit famous 3 Idiots school, Thiksey Monastery & Hall of Fame O/N Leh
- Thiksey Monastery
  19 Kms from Leh, Thiksey is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas of Ladakh. The Thiksey monastery provides a panoramic view of the green Indus Valley from its vantage point atop a hill. It has chambers full of statues, Stupas and colorful Tankhas.
- 3 Idiots school – the school made famous by the movie 3 Idiots (entrance to school will depend on school authorities)
- Hall of Fame
Hall of Fame near Leh is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defence personalities with biographies, images and weapons used during Kargil war.

Day 8 – Leh – Back to Destination.

Early morning transfer to airport and fly back to Destination with Sweet Memories of Ladakh
